A Christmas Carol Drone Light Show

The Dash are excited to host the2nd annual Holiday Drone Light Show! This will be a one-of-a-kind experience at Truist Stadium, in partnership with Celestial, to bring 500 drones to light up the sky with a rendition of the classic story, A Christmas Carol.

Jingle Jog 5k & Santa Strut

The Jingle Jog 5K and Santa Strut has been a Triad holiday tradition. This is a truly festival family (friends and pooches included) holiday event for all. Come join us for a great run and some Christmas fun! Bring your dog to run/walk with you! The 5K race will start at Fiddlin' Fish and go along the Long Branch paved trail on the edge of downtown. The Santa Strut is a 1 loop course. The post-race celebrations are at Fiddlin' Fish.

Candle Tea

Dec. 3-6, Dec. 7-9, Dec 11, Dec. 13. Each year hundreds of guests come to the historic Single Brothers House in Old Salem to experience this rich tradition. As a Moravian brass band plays nearby, costumed volunteers welcome guests with an introduction to the history of the Moravians in Salem, followed by carols in the Saal accompanied by an 18th century Tannenburg organ, the sweet aroma of a beeswax candle-making demonstration, a visit to the original kitchen to enjoy coffee and sugar cake, and finally a viewing of the amazing Salem putz and the nativity scene.

Old Salem Joy of Christmas Evening Tours

Twin City Santa X Kaleideum: Holiday Gala & Toy Drive

The holiday party of the year just got a new twist! Twin City Santa is partnering with Kaleideum After Dark to present the 22nd Annual Twin City Santa Toy Drive and Semi-Formal. Dress Code - Business casual to semi-formal festive attire. A Night of Festive Fun and Local Magic. Guests are invited to dress to dazzle in their holiday best, bring a new, unwrapped toy valued at $25, and enjoy a night filled with music, laughter, and giving. A toy donation (or a $25 monetary donation in lieu of a toy) is required for entry, as every ticket sold and every toy collected help make Christmas brighter for local children. The evening will feature: DJ Hek Yeh, Live jazz performances on the upper level, Holiday karaoke in the Digital Dome, A photo booth, festive hors d’oeuvres, and handcrafted cocktails, Two drink tickets included with each admission

Tuba Christmas

Enjoy a FREE concert of Christmas carols performed by dozens of tuba and euphonium players! 2025 marks the 52md anniversary of Tuba Christmas concerts which are held in over 300 cities throughout the United States to celebrate those who enjoy, play, teach, and compose music for instruments in the tuba family. Harvey Phillips created this annual event to honor the tubist William J. Bell, who was born on Christmas Day, 1902.

City Tree Lighting Celebration

When the parade is over, come down to Corpening Plaza to watch the tree get lit! Join the magic of this annual event and experience lights, music, food, floats, and holiday cheer!

WS Ambassadors Holiday Parade

Start your Holiday season off at the WS Ambassadors Parade! Parade route begins on 4th St. and takes a right on Liberty St. and ends in Corpening Plaza for the Tree Lighting Celebration.
