World Premiere of Permutations for Piano and Orchestra by Robert Chumbley

A new piano concerto, entitled Permutations for Piano and Orchestra, by celebrated American composer, UNCSA Alumnus, Robert Chumbley will be premiered by the University of North Carolina School of the Arts Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of UNCSA Alumnus Robert Franz, and pianist, Clifton Matthews Distinguished Professor, Dmitri Shteinberg as soloist, on Saturday evening, March 25, 2023, 7:30 p.m. EST at the Stevens Center, University of North Carolina School of Arts.

Mr. Chumbley, who served as the president of the Arts Council of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County between 2001 and 2004, was one of the original students of the North Carolina School of the Arts and among the youngest ever accepted by the school.
