On Monday, March 20, shop in-store or online to support Smith Farm Elementary School, and support their initiative for more students to have access to books at home. Bookmarks is a literary arts nonprofit and independent bookstore located in downtown Winston-Salem. We host authors year-round in our bookstore space and at venues around the community. Our annual book festival is the largest in the Carolinas, drawing 25,000 attendees from 18 states. Our community outreach is built on the foundation of "Books with Purpose," the tagline of our organization that promotes the love and importance of identity and community through words and stories.
