Guest artist Christopher Jacobson, a Grammy-nominated organist, will perform a recital of masterpieces by Georg Böhm, Charles Racquet, Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck and J.S. Bach, including his profound Prelude and Fugue in E minor, which has been referred to as a “two-movement symphony” for the organ because of its immense scope. Estonian composer Arvo Pärt’s “Annum per annum,” composed in 1980 for the 950th anniversary of the Speyer Dome Church in Germany, will center the program.
