Join us for an afternoon at the opera as the A.J. Fletcher Opera Institute Fellows perform scenes from the operatic repertoire. These gifted performers have received unparalleled training at the graduate and post-graduate level, honing their skills under the guidance of the renowned Fletcher faculty artists. Many Fletcher alumni have gone on to remarkable opera careers in the U.S. and around the globe.

Hanesbrands Theatre is the premier, black-box theatre, located on the campus of Arts Council of Winston-Salem & Forsyth County in downtown Winston-Salem. The theatre is multi-functioning with state-of-the art lighting, DCP projection, and audio systems. As a performance venue, Hanesbrands Theatre can seat up to 228 for theatre, film screenings, music, and dance. With retractable seating, Hanesbrands Theatre can be configured for a wide variety of non-theatrical events and activities, such as private receptions and parties, corporate training programs, public lectures, and town-hall style meetings.
