The Long Eighteenth Century

Take a musical trip back in time to the golden age of Moravian music. Please join us in Old Salem in Winston-Salem for music of the early Moravians, much of which is still used in worship, today. The chamber music includes secular music of the Moravians, as was used and performed by the Salem Collegium Musicum in the late 18th century. The Moramus Chorale and a consort of early instruments, including the 1800 Tannenberg organ. Drake Flynt, conductor; Mary Louis Kapp Peeples, organist.
