Faculty artist Dmitri Vorobiev, piano, will present a program of lesser-performed works by Robert Schumann that represent the true genius of one of the greatest composers of the 19th century. The music on this program was written at the composer’s most fruitful time, when Schumann was at the peak of his composing for the piano. Audiences will experience the constantly shifting character of the music, one of Schumann’s trademarks.
